Fun (and spooky) times abound this guising season in Napa Valley! Harvest is in full swing and the many Halloween themed Napa events are sure to bring fun times to downtown and beyond. And your favorite Napa bar Downtown Joe’s is right smack in the middle of the fun! The crisp autumn evenings are comfortable here in wine country so you’ll want to be here come this Halloween. There’s much to do, but we will give you some ideas of Napa events you won’t want to miss.

  1. Long Meadow Ranch Family Pumpkin Carving

This year Long Meadow Ranch up in St. Helena is having a pumpkin carving from 10:30am to 1pm on October 27th. Bring the kids for a fun afternoon but stay for the delicious brunch buffet! Be sure to check their website to reserve your time and every child must be chaperoned by an adult. It’ll be worth the time getting up valley for this fun and family-friendly Napa event!

  1. Ghosts and Ghouls Afternoon Tea Costume Party

One of the most unique Napa events this season is at the Ackerman Heritage House.  These fine folks will be offering a fantastic elegant afternoon tea on October 27th at their beautiful Victorian era home on Randolph Street here in St. Helena. There will be culinary delights as well as delicious organic teas served in antique china as well as wine by the glass or bottle for an additional fee. Be sure to check their website for all details and to reserve your spot!

  1. Hocus Pocus at CIA Copia

Right here in downtown at CIA Copia on October 29th at 6:45pm there will be a free screening of the holiday classic Hocus Pocus! Be sure to bring the whole family and stop by our great Napa bar beforehand for a good burger or beer to kick off the evening!

  1. Hometown Halloween

Another one of the great Napa events happening downtown near our fun Napa bar is Hometown Halloween on Saturday October 26th. This delightful event is a safe trick-or-treat afternoon outing for the little ones. Several downtown businesses will be putting up orange and black balloons out in front of their stores to show they are ready to take trick or treaters from 11am to 1pm! There will also be Halloween-themed backdrops for photo opportunities. Just remember to stop by our great Napa bar for a fantastic breakfast to get started before roaming around town.

There’s many, many Napa events to be done the weekend before Halloween and trying our fantastic beer at our Napa bar should be high on your list. Be sure to swing by for great casual dining and a ton of fun at Downtown Joe’s.
