Turkey Day is almost here and this nearly 400 year old celebration will be alive and well here in Napa on the fourth Thursday in November. Crisp air, wine, and fall colors will bring folks to wine country. Here at Downtown Joe’s, one of our valley’s favorite Napa restaurants, we will be celebrating one of our nation’s most treasured holidays by having our own great Thanksgiving meal! So skip cooking and come visit us this November. Downtown Napa restaurants will be abuzz and our Thanksgiving dinner complete with all the trimmings will certainly be a great time.
A Little History
This feast, though normally associated with Pilgrims in New England and dating back hundreds of years, is celebrated around the world and has varying accounts of when it was “first” introduced. In fact, for a long time, different states in the US had different days to celebrate and it was not uniformly declared to be a federal holiday until 1863 by President Abraham Lincoln.

Our Napa restaurant will have a great home-y vibe while you take a day to relax and watch football, enjoying a good beer instead of stressing over a complicated meal. Our kitchen will be open from 9am to 7pm serving our scrumptious meals. The prix fix menu includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, green beans, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, and veggies. Lunch will be $22.95, dinner $26.95. We will have slices of delicious Pumpkin Pie for an additional $2!
